About the festival
This day festival is being funded and created by the Berkhamsted Poetry Society, with generous support from its members as well as businesses and organisations in Berkhamsted itself.

Location
The festival will be held in the tranquil canalside gardens of the Old Mill.
Festival of Verse programme | Saturday 6th of September
Festival opens at 2pm
Guests are welcome to arrive from 2pm onwards.
Poetry Workshop | 2pm - 5pm
Take part in the workshops and wordplay activities, enjoy recitals, authors and poetry readings, musical interludes, rhythm and rhyme play, lyrics, writer's hub, write your poems, prose, verses and everything in-between!
Open Mic | 5pm - 6:30pm
Open to all! Expect the unexpected... locals and visitors welcome! | Be brave! Prizes on the night!
