Berkhamsted Library and the Great Big Green Week Poetry Swap

I was thrilled to be invited by Library Manager, Sandy Blake, to co-host Berkhamsted Library's Great Big Green Week Poetry Swap in June 2024!

Helping to shape and host the evening, the first ever poetry event launched by our local library, aligns perfectly with our own vision - Berkhamsted Poetry Society is keen to collaborate and enhance local community projects and events through outreach initiatives and partnerships. This opportunity presented a great fit for us both!

The audience, including many BPS members, shared their original work alongside readings of established classics, both in poetry and prose form, celebrating all things 'green'. The evening was a resounding success - so much so that the Berkhamsted Poetry Society has been invited to return for a repeat performance in October! Watch this space...
